I love to look and watch, basically I love what I see.

My favorite is when I am able to transform natural, real, yet subtle moments, you being you, into a lovely memory. I want to create stories weaving through time. But I also really enjoy allowing my imagination to run wild and creating new characters in image. I like faded, colorful, contrasty, grainy black and white and I love to play with color with old film and old cameras.

I appreciate celebrating old traditions in new and sometimes unexpected ways with an emphasis on love, fun and celebration with as little stress as possible. It’s beautiful when you inject your personal creativity into the day. I love it when a dance party starts.

(enter twilight zone music) I had a dream while still in highschool and not yet really into photography that my dad told me I would be a photographer.

A few of my favorite things are the sweet people in my life, road trips, live music, hiking with my love, cameras, burritos, strawberries, jeans, movies, the sky (especially twilight), clouds, autumn, the beach (not so much for tanning though), barefoot in the sand, art, handmade, daydreaming, night-dreaming, yoga, contortionists, the desert, a warm sun with a cool breeze, open minds, curiosity, quiet time with a good book and when I remember that a sense of humor can make everything ok.
